Our Vision

Since our new Vicar, Gayle, started serving in leadership with us in July 2020, like all churches, we have been adjusting to the changes that the pandemic has brought about for church life.  We realise that God's vision for St James', and in time, for Holy Trinity at Clayhanger, will have much to do with what the Lord has been doing here over past decades as well as with the new opportunities we trust that God will highlight to us to engage in His mission.

With the Lord as our guide, Gayle and our church council are in a lengthy process of discerning more about His vision for ministry and mission in Brownhills and Clayhanger.

All that we know at the moment is that we'd like God's vision for us to have something to do with us growing in the areas of worship, discipleship, connecting with people of all ages, and of sharing Jesus through our words and acts of service to the community.  These areas are symbolised by the icons that are within our temporary logo.
