Baptisms and Christenings

Baptisms and Christenings are a significant milestone in a person's spiritual journey, and at St James', we offer this sacrament to individuals of all ages. Our church has its own pool, allowing for full immersion Baptisms, which symbolise being born again in Christ. Whether you are an adult seeking Baptism or a parent wishing to christen your child, we welcome you to join us in this sacred celebration of faith that's a sign of becoming a part of God's family.

Wedding Day

Weddings

At St James, we believe that marriage is a sacred union that should be celebrated in the presence of the Lord. Our vicar Gayle and St James team are here to offer her support, guidance, and prayers throughout your wedding journey. With our beautiful church as your backdrop, your special day will be filled with love, joy, and blessings. Let us help you create a memorable and meaningful wedding ceremony that reflects your unique love story.

Funerals

At St James' church, Gayle, our Lay reader Liz, and pastoral team understand the pain and sadness that comes with the death of a loved one. We are here to offer support and comfort during this difficult time. We offer funeral services that honour the life of your loved one and provide a space for family and friends to come together to grieve and celebrate their life. Please know you are held in our prayers during this time of loss.
