Reverend Gayle Greenway

Gayle is passionate about Jesus' power to transform and restore lives.  She has a wonderful mum who has a great sense of humour, and loves social time with friends & spiritual family, walking, hiking up hills and more recently, mountains, the gym, running and listening to all genres of worship music as part of devotional time. Gayle also likes listening to Heart radio and all sorts of music via Spotify, and watching nature and the wildlife.

Pete Biggs

Pete is a follower of Christ. Dad, Husband and Son. He is a lover of music, woodwork and photography. Some days he amazes himself and other days puts his car keys in the fridge!

Graham Sutherington

Graham enjoys gardening, walking, reading and trying (sometimes unsuccessfully) to grow in Christlikeness each day. 

Roger Corbett

Roger enjoys travelling, ideally by public transport, to visit places both previously visited and those not previously visited.  He is a proud husband, father and grandfather and is committed to serving the local communities both through the church and through other organisations.  Roger also enjoys watching classic TV programmes.

Liz Corbett

Liz's favourite things are her family, reading, walking the dogs and knowing Jesus Christ.

Margaret Powell

Margaret enjoys serving as one of our Church Wardens, arranging the flowers to glorify God, making pastoral cards for the church and wider community, and gardening.

Alan Wiley

Alan has just completed his first year as Treasurer, and combines this with his full-time work as a professional referee coach. He enjoys attending sports events and physical fitness. Alan loves family time, especially with grandchildren and with his dog. He looks forward to church services, where he feels closest to Jesus without the pressures of work expectations. Occasionally he operates the computer to display the service on the screen at services.

Vic Whitehouse

Vic loves Jesus, Van life, camping, narrowboats, festivals, DJing and travelling. Vic believes that is anything is possible through Christ, who makes the impossible possible.

Andy Stokes

Andy is a proud follower of Jesus and one of the newer members of St. James' Church. He’s dedicated to living out Jesus' teachings and eager to learn what it means to be more Jesus-shaped. A lifelong Manchester United supporter, Andy’s passion for the team always brings a smile to his face—especially when he’s pretending the score line doesn’t matter! He shares his life with Rachael, whose support and love enrich their journey together. Above all, Andy cherishes his role as a proud father, fully embracing the joys of family life.
